UNESCO Extends the Mandate of the Chair and the UNITWIN Network – Mission Confirmed, New Horizons
We are delighted to announce that the UNESCO Division for the Future of Education and Innovation has decided to extend, for another four years (until 2029), the cooperation agreement with our University, covering the activities of both:
🔹 the UNESCO Chair in Lifelong Guidance and Counselling, and
🔹 the UNITWIN Network “Life Designing Interventions (counseling, guidance, education) for Decent Work and Sustainable Development.”
This decision reflects UNESCO’s trust, recognition of the quality of our work, and the growing role that the Institute of Pedagogy of the University of Wrocław plays in shaping innovative models of guidance, research, and international collaboration.
The UNESCO Chair was established in 2013, and the UNITWIN Network in 2017. Today, this collaboration brings together 23 universities from around the world.
The extension of the agreement represents a strategic success for us – it opens a new stage in the development of research projects, training programmes, and joint initiatives supporting the advancement of career and life design counselling on a global scale.
We sincerely thank all our Partners for their continued engagement. Ahead of us are new years of shared work, discoveries, and building the future of education and counselling.
With hope, we construct the future in the era of the Anthropocene!
